The following accessories are designed for use with conductive fluid sensing cable, and can simplify tricky installations:
X-Connector
The X-Connector (X-CON) branches SeaHawk conductive fluid sensing cable and non-sensing cable. With one input and three outputs, the X-CON allows cable to be branched in three separate directions. The X-CON includes two end-of-line (EOL) terminators. Multiple X-CONs can be used in a distance-read system without affecting accuracy, however each X-CON simulates 150 feet (45.7m) of cable. This X-CON can only be used with conductive fluid sensing cable that has a resistance of 2.8Ω/ft.
Weighted Cable Connector
The weighted cable connector (WCCS) is used with a distance-read panel to simulate 50 feet (15.2m) of SeaHawk conductive fluid sensing cable. It provides distinct separation between sections of sensing cable for enhanced leak location identification and is most commonly used between floors or rooms. This WCCS can only be used with conductive fluid sensing cable that has a resistance of 2.8Ω/ft.
Sensing Cable Adapter Kit
The sensing cable adapter kit (SCC-KIT) is used to reverse the connector type (male-to-female or female-to-male), and is typically used when cable has been installed incorrectly. It includes one male/male and one female/female connector and eliminates the need to uninstall and reinstall cable.
